From Rock Bottom to Purposeful Storytelling
As the world stood still in 2020, my own world was quietly falling apart. I was newly divorced, unemployed, homeless — and deeply hopeless. Yet, right there in the middle of the wreckage, I uncovered something powerful: my voice.
With nothing but borrowed internet and a secondhand laptop, I began writing. Not just any writing, but stories that preserved memories, honored truth, and gave voice to the silenced. Memoirs, autobiographies, magazine features and human-interest articles — each project reminded me that stories can heal. They can bridge gaps. They can spark real change.
That was the beginning of my freelance writing business — not born of abundance, but from a deep need to rebuild.
Today, when work is good, I employ five part-time writers and two graphic designers, and I’ve been privileged to help countless people — many of them women, survivors, and everyday heroes — tell their stories with honesty, dignity, and heart.
As my business has grown, so too has its purpose. Since 2024, we’ve also been designing billboards, magazine layouts, and book covers — extending our passion for visual storytelling and helping clients connect with their audiences through beautiful, meaningful design. We now offer strategic brand communication to help individuals and organizations not only tell their stories, but align them with their mission, values, and audience needs.
More than a source of income, this business reflects my commitment to SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. I make it my mission to uplift voices that often go unheard — especially those of women, marginalized communities, and anyone facing personal struggles — because every voice deserves to matter, and every story deserves to shine.
We work thoughtfully and sustainably, using a minimalist approach to tools and resources that supports a circular, paperless economy. We collaborate across borders, guided by compassion and integrity. Because storytelling — whether through words or design — isn’t just content. It’s a force for healing, for change, and for global transformation.
